Description: Enable the transmission of RDI frames. Since RDI is a bit in the CCM frames, this setting is only taken into account if the transmission of CC messages is enabled.
What is oacEthOamMepRdiTxEnable?
This enables transmission of the RDI (Remote Defect Indication) bit within CCM frames, and only takes effect if continuity-check message transmission is already enabled on this MEP. Admins enable this so peer MEPs are notified when this MEP detects a defect, but must confirm CCM transmission is on first, since RDI rides inside the CCM frame.
