Description: Enable the transmission of AIS frames.
What is oacEthOamMepAisTxEnable?
This enables transmission of AIS (Alarm Indication Signal) frames from this MEP; per the MIB's documented procedure, all other AIS objects must be set first, then this is set true to start transmission and false to stop it. Admins enable this so client-layer MEPs are informed of a detected server-layer defect instead of each independently timing out on lost continuity checks.
