Module: OMNITRON-POE-MIB
OID (symbolic): OMNITRON-POE-MIB::ostPoePortHeartbeatIpAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.7342.15.2.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-write
Description: This object is the PoE PD heartbeat IP address to ping.
What is ostPoePortHeartbeatIpAddress?
This object holds the IP address that the switch's PoE heartbeat feature pings on this port to verify the powered device is still alive. An administrator sets this to the management IP of the connected PD, such as a PoE camera, so the switch can detect when it stops responding. If left at 0.0.0.0, the heartbeat has no target address configured and effectively cannot monitor the device.
