Description: Management module configuration information is restored to factory defaults. This variable is a write only. Different types of restore defaults are supported:
restoreFactoryDefaults(0,1) Restores factory defaults restoreLocalDefaults(2) Restores defaults from local file restorePreviousConfig(3) Restores the previously saved configuration. This is useful to regress to a known working setup. restoreFactoryDefaultsKeepIp(4) Restores factory defaults but keeps IP based settings restoreLocalDefaultsKeepIp(5) Restores defaults from local file but keeps IP based settings. restorePreviousConfigKeepIp(6) Restores the previously saved configuration but keeps IP based settings.
What is modRestoreFactoryDefaults?
Write-only trigger (0-6) that restores the module's configuration to one of several baselines: factory defaults, a locally saved default file, or the previous configuration, each with an optional '...KeepIp' variant that preserves IP settings. An admin uses restorePreviousConfig(3) to quickly roll back a bad change, or a KeepIp variant to reset config while retaining remote reachability.
