transportStop

Module: OMNITEK-MIB

OID (symbolic): OMNITEK-MIB::transportStop

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.18458.10.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Determine whether the currently selected pattern/playlist is stopped (if the currently selected pattern is not a sequence/playlist, this value will return 0). You can set this value to anything other than 0 to play the currently selected sequence/playlist in reverse (this will have no effect if a non-sequence pattern is selected in the configuration).

What is transportStop?

Reports whether the currently selected sequence or playlist is stopped, reading back 0 if the selected pattern is not a sequence; writing any non-zero value stops playback of the current sequence. Note: the source MIB's DESCRIPTION for this object is copy-pasted from transportPlayReverse and literally says setting it plays the sequence in reverse, which is inconsistent with the object's own name and its position among the other transport controls (start, jog, play forward, loop) -- this explanation instead reflects the stop semantics implied by the name and by its role alongside the other transport objects.
