What is uomLaserTemp?
This holds the unit-of-measure string reported for the Laser Temperature reading, typically something like "°C". An admin's monitoring UI appends this unit when displaying the laser diode's own operating temperature, so the raw floating-point number in currentValueLaserTemp appears with meaningful units instead of a bare number.
