What is uomLaserBias?
This holds the unit-of-measure string reported for the Laser Bias reading, typically something like "mA". An admin's monitoring UI appends this unit when displaying the DC bias current driving the laser diode, so the raw floating-point number in currentValueLaserBias appears with meaningful units instead of a bare number.
