Description: The value of this object provides the Major High alarm value of the Laser Bias Analog parameter. This value is a floating point number that is represented as an IEEE 32 bit number.
What is majorHighLaserBias?
This holds the major-high alarm threshold configured for the Laser Bias parameter, expressed in the unit given by uomLaserBias (typically mA). If currentValueLaserBias rises above this threshold, the module raises a majorHighAlarm condition reflected in alarmStateLaserBias, the most severe high-side warning for this parameter. An admin sets this threshold based on the module's known safe operating range for the DC bias current driving the laser diode.
