Description: The value of this object provides the Current value of the Attenuator Setting Analog parameter. This value is a floating point number that is represented as an IEEE 32 bit number.
What is currentValueRelAttenSetting?
This reports the live value of the Attenuator Setting parameter and also lets an operator write a new value to directly adjust it, since the relative attenuation pad applied inside the module to trim the RF or optical signal level. An admin uses this to both monitor and actively tune the setting, unlike most other analog readings in this table which are read-only, and a write here takes effect immediately on the hardware.
