ocStbHostRebootIpModeTlvChange

Module: OC-STB-HOST-MIB

OID (symbolic): OC-STB-HOST-MIB::ocStbHostRebootIpModeTlvChange

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4491.2.3.1.1.4.6.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this object to ignore(1) causes the eSTB to ignore the IP mode TLV when received during normal operation (e.g., when only the eCM is reset). The operator can then schedule a Host reset at a less disruptive time. When set to immediate(2), an IP Mode TLV change will result in an immediate reset and disrupt all current Host activity. The value of this object is persistent.

What is ocStbHostRebootIpModeTlvChange?

Controls how the eSTB reacts to an IP Mode TLV change during normal operation: ignore(1) lets the operator schedule the resulting Host reset for a less disruptive time, while immediate(2), the default, applies the change (and the reset it requires) right away, disrupting whatever the Host is currently doing; the setting itself persists across reboots.
