This object may not be modified if the associated rpHostMonitorControlStatus is equal to valid(1).
What is rpHostMonitorControlInactiveEvent?
This read-write value names the RMON eventEntry index to trigger when a monitored host transitions from active to inactive; it can't be changed once rpHostMonitorControlStatus is valid(1). Admins point this at an event configured to send an SNMP trap so they're alerted when a host stops transmitting for longer than rpHostMonitorControlTimeout.
