Description: This counts the total number of packets that were dropped because the packet passed through a filter point into which was provisioned a filter which was never defined in a file loaded into NetSentry. Such filter points have atached to the the so-call Null Filter, which will either succeed or fail all packets passing through it, depending on whether or not the dropConditions attribute includes the nullFilter value.

What is mscVrNsDroppedNullFilter?

Counts packets dropped because they hit a filter point provisioned with a filter that was never actually defined in any loaded File component (the so-called 'Null Filter'), and only increments if nullFilter is set in mscVrNsDropConditions. A rising count here signals a configuration gap: a filter point is referenced but its filter file was never loaded, and traffic through it is being silently dropped.
