Description: This attribute indicates the scope of the ATM address, which is the highest level to which this address will be advertised in the PNNI hierarchy. If no PnniInfo subcomponent has been provisioned, then the scope will default to the level of this node in the PNNI hierarchy. If this node does not participate in a PNNI hierarchy, then this attribute will have the value of -1.
What is mscAtmIfPnniAddrScope?
Reports the operational scope of a PNNI-advertised ATM address on a PNNI interface on a regular ATM interface, the highest hierarchy level up to which it's advertised, defaulting to this node's own hierarchy level if no PnniInfo subcomponent was provisioned, or -1 if the node doesn't participate in a PNNI hierarchy. Admins check this to confirm how widely an address is actually being propagated through the PNNI routing domain.
