Description: This attribute gives the total count of packets this Vns component was expected to transmit, but had to discard on this LP. (For example, VNS packets may be discarded because there is no route to the given destination.) Packets counted here are not counted in totalTxPkts. The counter wraps around to zero when the maximum value is reached.
What is rtgVnsLpStatsTotalTxDiscPkts?
This is intended to give the combined unicast-plus-multicast total packets this Vns component was expected to transmit but had to discard on a specific LP (logical processor); the MIB marks this table's subtree as currently not implemented. An admin should not rely on this per-LP counter returning live data given the not-implemented status noted in the source MIB.
