rtgDpnDiscardNoRoute
Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DpnRoutingMIB
OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-DpnRoutingMIB::rtgDpnDiscardNoRoute
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.2.4.1.40.4.14.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: PassportCounter64
Access: read-only
Description: This attribute counts the packets discarded when DPN packet forwarding has failed to find a route to forward the packets on this module. Note that DPRS packets leaving the network at this module are not counted. The counter wraps to zero when the maximum value is exceeded.
What is rtgDpnDiscardNoRoute?
Counts packets discarded on this module because DPN packet forwarding couldn't find a route to the destination. A growing count points to real reachability problems, such as a RID that's genuinely unreachable or a routing table that hasn't converged.
