Description: The number of silence subframes transmitted by the channel.
What is nncVSSilenceTx?
This counter tracks the number of silence subframes the channel has transmitted. Comparing it with nncVSSpeechTx lets an admin confirm silence suppression is engaging appropriately rather than the channel needlessly transmitting silent frames and wasting bandwidth. A channel showing unusually low nncVSSilenceTx relative to expected quiet periods might indicate silence suppression is disabled or misconfigured.
