Description: This count gives the number of sequence discontinuities in packets received.
What is nncVSSequenceDiscontinuities?
This counter tracks the number of times received voice packets arrived out of expected sequence order. Discontinuities point to packet loss or reordering in the ATM network path, which an admin would investigate as a network-layer issue rather than a card fault. A steadily increasing count on one specific channel while others remain at zero suggests a routing or switching problem isolated to that circuit.
