Description: The counter associated with the number of Path Severely Errored Frames encountered by a E3 interface in the previous 24 hours interval. This counts framing pattern errors. In Direct cell mapping mode, this is the count of frames with errored FA1/FA2 bytes in the G.832 overhead. In PLCP mode, this is the count of frames with an errored G.751 Frame Alignment byte.
What is nncExtE3Total24HrSEFs?
This gauge is the running total of Severely Errored Framing events accumulated by an E3 interface over the previous 24 hours, counting errored FA1/FA2 bytes in Direct mode or errored G.751 alignment bytes in PLCP mode. It summarizes framing-level problems for the full day in a single counter. An admin correlating a day of intermittent connectivity complaints would check this total against other 24-hour error counters to isolate whether framing was the root cause.
