Description: The counter associated with the number of Path Errored Seconds encountered by a E3 interface in one of the previous 15 minute intervals. This counts the seconds containing one or more BIP errors, one or more LOF defects, one or more LOS defects, or a detected incoming AIS. This counter is valid when an interface is configured for Direct cell mapping. When an interface is configured for PLCP cell mapping, the counter returns the last valid count when the port is in the Direct mode.

What is nncExtE3Interval15MinESs?

This gauge holds the Path Errored Seconds count for one specific past 15-minute interval on an E3 interface, selected by the accompanying nncExtE3Interval15MinNumber index, counting seconds with BIP errors, LOF/LOS defects, or incoming AIS. It's valid in Direct cell mapping mode, returning the last valid Direct-mode count when the port is in PLCP mode. An admin building an error-history report would walk through intervals 1 through 96 reading this object to chart ES counts over the past 24 hours.
