nmspmCPUTotalPhysicalIndex

Module: NMS-PROCESS-MIB

OID (symbolic): NMS-PROCESS-MIB::nmspmCPUTotalPhysicalIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11606.10.9.109.1.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: EntPhysicalIndexOrZero

Access: read-only

Description: The entPhysicalIndex of the physical entity for which the CPU statistics in this entry are maintained. The physical entity can be a CPU chip, a group of CPUs, a CPU card etc. The exact type of this entity is described by its entPhysicalVendorType value. If the CPU statistics in this entry correspond to more than one physical entity (or to no physical entity), or if the entPhysicalTable is not supported on the SNMP agent, the value of this object must be zero.

What is nmspmCPUTotalPhysicalIndex?

This read-only value references the entPhysicalIndex of the physical entity, such as a CPU chip, CPU card, or group of CPUs, that the CPU utilization statistics in this table row are measured for; it's set to zero if the statistics don't correspond to a single physical entity or the entPhysicalTable isn't supported. Admins use it to map a row's CPU busy percentages back to a specific physical component in the device's inventory. On a multi-CPU chassis, a nonzero value here lets an admin identify exactly which CPU card the accompanying 5-second, 1-minute, and 5-minute utilization figures belong to.
