This read-only value, 1-100 percent, reports the overall CPU busy percentage over the last 5-second period; the description notes it's deprecated in favor of nmspmCPUTotal5secRev, which uses a 0-100 range. Admins poll it for near-real-time CPU load visibility, useful for catching short spikes that longer averages would smooth over. A value spiking to 95 percent momentarily, while the 1-minute and 5-minute averages stay low, would tell an admin the device experienced a brief CPU burst rather than sustained overload.
