Description: The ReservedIPMC packet priority to host CPU. The range is 0-7. Default is 0.
What is reservedIPMCPriority?
This field sets the priority level assigned to reserved IP multicast packets when they are forwarded to the switch's host CPU. Admins raise this to ensure protocol-critical reserved multicast traffic, like routing protocol multicasts, gets prompt CPU handling. For example, raising reservedIPMCPriority from the default of 0 helps protect reserved multicast control traffic from being delayed during high CPU load.
