Description: The number of seconds that a router's Hello packets have not been seen before it's neigh- bors declare the router down. This should be some multiple of the Hello interval. This value must be the same for all routers attached to a common network.

What is nsVrOspfIfRtrDeadInterval?

How many seconds of missed Hellos before neighbors declare this router dead, normally set to a multiple of the Hello interval and required to match across the segment. Admins tune this to control how fast OSPF detects a failed neighbor versus tolerating brief packet loss.
