Description: Monitors Juniper Neoteris IVE SSL VPN gateway session counts, authentication status, and tunnel statistics.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is NEOTERIS-IVE-MIB?
NEOTERIS-IVE-MIB is a Juniper Networks (Neoteris/IVE — Instant Virtual Extranet, later Juniper SSL VPN, enterprise OID 12532) proprietary MIB reporting SSL-VPN appliance load and usage. Its objects cover log-full percentage, signed-in web/mail user counts, a blocked-IP object, auth-server name, product name/version, file name, meeting-user count, CPU/memory utilization, concurrent users (device and cluster), total/file/web/applet/terminal/SAM/network-connect hit counts, meeting hits, log-nearly-full/full flags, max-concurrent-users-signed-in, and too-many-failed-login-attempts flag. As a performance/status MIB it lets an administrator watch concurrent-session load and CPU/memory pressure on a Juniper (Neoteris IVE) SSL VPN appliance. It is deployed on Juniper Networks (Neoteris IVE) SSL VPN appliances. Engineers can download the NEOTERIS-IVE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NEOTERIS-IVE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper Networks (Neoteris IVE) SSL VPN appliances
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks iveConcurrentUsers and iveCpuUtil to watch session load and CPU pressure on a Juniper (Neoteris IVE) SSL VPN appliance.
