What Is NEC-IP-PBX-MIB?
NEC-IP-PBX-MIB is an NEC Corp. proprietary MIB (the IPS MIB) for NEC's IP-PBX platform, reporting lamp-status alarms and system messages. Its objects cover a lamp-status-clear action, major/minor lamp status, system-message data/major/minor/supervisor fields, and a system-message notification trap. As a status/notification MIB it lets an administrator confirm whether an NEC IP-PBX is reporting a major or minor alarm condition and clear the alarm lamp remotely. It is deployed on NEC IP-PBX platforms. Engineers can download the NEC-IP-PBX-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NEC-IP-PBX-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
