nbsConnectivityDestIPAddress
Module: NBS-CONNECTIVITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): NBS-CONNECTIVITY-MIB::nbsConnectivityDestIPAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.238.1.1.1.30
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-only
Description: Deprecated. IPv4 information is in nbsConnectivityDestAddr instead.
What is nbsConnectivityDestIPAddress?
This object is a deprecated IPv4-only field that once held the management IP address of the remote device discovered on a connected port. It has been superseded by nbsConnectivityDestAddr, which supports both IPv4 and IPv6, so admins should treat this field as a legacy placeholder rather than the authoritative address source. A monitoring tool polling this OID on newer firmware may simply see it return 0.0.0.0 while the real address appears under the newer object.
