natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations

Module: NATV2-MIB

OID (symbolic): NATV2-MIB::natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.1.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter64

Access: read-only

Description: The cumulative number of port map entries created for this subscriber, including static mappings. Port map entries are also tracked per instance and per protocol and address pool within the instance.

This value MUST be monotone increasing in the periods between updates of the entity's natv2SubscriberDiscontinuityTime. If a manager detects a change in the latter since the last time it sampled this counter, it SHOULD NOT make use of the difference between the latest value of the counter and any value retrieved before the new value of natv2SubscriberDiscontinuityTime.

What is natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations?

A cumulative count of port-map entries created for this subscriber, including static mappings, letting an admin gauge how actively a subscriber's traffic is generating new NAT sessions.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.1.1.1.10
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NATV2-MIB::natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.1.1.1.10.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NATV2-MIB::natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> natv2SubscriberPortMapCreations.1
