natv2PoolAddressMapFailureDrops
Module: NATV2-MIB
OID (symbolic): NATV2-MIB::natv2PoolAddressMapFailureDrops
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.2.3.1.11
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: The cumulative number of packets originated by the subscriber that were dropped because the packet would have triggered the creation of a new address map entry, but no address could be allocated from this address pool because all addresses in the pool have already been fully allocated. Counters of this event are also provided per instance, per protocol, and per subscriber.
This value MUST be monotone increasing in the periods between updates of the entity's natv2PoolDiscontinuityTime. If a manager detects a change in the latter since the last time it sampled this counter, it SHOULD NOT make use of the difference between the latest value of the counter and any value retrieved before the new value of natv2PoolDiscontinuityTime.
What is natv2PoolAddressMapFailureDrops?
A cumulative count of packets dropped because a new address-map entry needed an address from this specific pool but the pool was already fully allocated, letting an admin identify exactly which pool is exhausted rather than just that some pool, somewhere, is.
