natv2NotificationInstancePortMapEntriesHigh

Module: NATV2-MIB

OID (symbolic): NATV2-MIB::natv2NotificationInstancePortMapEntriesHigh

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.0.4

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This notification is triggered when the value of natv2InstancePortMapEntries becomes greater than or equal to the value of natv2InstanceThresholdPortMapEntriesHigh, unless disabled by setting that threshold to -1. Reporting is subject to the rate limitation given by natv2InstanceNotificationInterval.

natv2InstancePortMapEntries and natv2InstancePortMapCreations are members of table natv2InstanceTable indexed by the identifier of the NAT instance for which the event is being reported. The values reported are those observed at the moment the notification was triggered.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' NATV2-MIB::natv2NotificationInstancePortMapEntriesHigh
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.2.1.234.0.4

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:52483->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (437651715) 50 days, 15:41:57.15
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: NATV2-MIB::natv2NotificationInstancePortMapEntriesHigh
