nbMacScrPermMsState

Module: MSCR-MIB

OID (symbolic): MSCR-MIB::nbMacScrPermMsState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.1.2.5.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: State of the entry: Only 'valid' entries participate in the MAC security process. The new entry is created when PDU with [nbMacScrPermMsState]='valid'(1), [nbMacScrPermMsAddress], and optionally [nbMacScrPermMsPort] (default='0') comes. If [nbMacScrPermMsAddress] and [nbMacScrPermMsPort] exists, the switch replaces it. The old entry is deleted when PDU with [nbMacScrPermMsState]='invalid'(2), [nbMacScrPermMsAddress], [nbMacScrPermMsPort] comes. The old entry is modified when PDU with [nbMacScrPermMsAddress] and new value of field [nbMacScrPermMsPort] comes. The set is for DRAM data base only. The updating of NVRAM data base executes after set to the object [nbMacScrPermLoadMS].

What is nbMacScrPermMsState?

Controls whether a permanent MAC-security address entry is valid or invalid, working the same way as nbMacScrRunMsState but for the DRAM copy of the permanent table (requiring nbMacScrPermLoadMS to persist to NVRAM).

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> MSCR-MIB::nbMacScrPermMsState

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.1.2.5.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> MSCR-MIB::nbMacScrPermMsState.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.629.1.50.1.2.5.1.4.1 i <value>
