Description: A textual string containing information about the tunnel. If there is no description this object contains a zero length string. This object is may not be signaled by MPLS signaling protocols, consequentally the value of this object at transit and egress LSRs MAY be automatically generated or absent.

What is mplsTunnelDescr?

A free-text description of the tunnel, empty by default; transit and egress LSRs may generate or omit this since it isn't signaled by MPLS protocols. An admin sets this at the head-end to document a tunnel's purpose, since downstream routers may not have a meaningful value here.
