Description: The speed of the Ethernet link before the change within Ethernet Speed Change Notifications.
What is mimosaOldSpeed?
This notification variable reports what speed the Ethernet link was running at immediately before a detected speed change, included in the Ethernet Speed Change trap alongside mimosaNewSpeed. An admin reads this to see exactly what transition occurred, such as whether a link dropped from gigabit to a slower fallback speed. For example, a trap carrying mimosaOldSpeed of 1000 alongside a lower mimosaNewSpeed tells the admin the link just downshifted from gigabit to a slower speed.
