Module: MEMOTECADMIN-MIB
OID (symbolic): MEMOTECADMIN-MIB::memotecAdminMibModules
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.3.7.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-only
Description: This objects represents the presence of the various MIB modules in the CPU. Each MIB module is represented by a bit. If the bit is set, then it implies that the MIB Module is present. Bits are numbered starting with zero, which is positioned as the high order bit of the first byte. Bits are packed eight to a byte. Unused bits should be set to zero. For example, to find out if layer id 15 is present, the bit number 15 is tested if it is set. What is memotecAdminMibModules?
This read-only 32-byte bitmap reports which of the device's many individual MIB modules (like CXETHIO.MIB, CXISDN.MIB, CXPPP.MIB, etc., each assigned a specific bit position per the DESCRIPTION's table) are actually present and loaded on this Memotec unit's CPU. An admin or management tool checks a specific bit to confirm support for a given feature module, such as bit 55 for CXT1E1.MIB, before assuming that functionality is available on this unit.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.3.7.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> MEMOTECADMIN-MIB::memotecAdminMibModules
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.3.7.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> MEMOTECADMIN-MIB::memotecAdminMibModules.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> memotecAdminMibModules.1
