me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval

Module: ME1200-LOOP-PROTECTION-MIB

OID (symbolic): ME1200-LOOP-PROTECTION-MIB::me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.815.1.91.1.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Port transmission interval (seconds). Valid range: 1-10 seconds.

What is me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval?

This object sets how often, in seconds within a valid range of 1-10, the device transmits loop-detection PDUs on ports with loop protection enabled. Admins tune this to balance faster loop detection against added control-plane traffic. Setting me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval to 3 would have the device send a loop-detection frame out protected ports every 3 seconds.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.815.1.91.1.2.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ME1200-LOOP-PROTECTION-MIB::me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.815.1.91.1.2.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ME1200-LOOP-PROTECTION-MIB::me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.815.1.91.1.2.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> me1200LoopProtectionGlobalsTransmitInterval.1
