What is sysIpConfigHostInterfaceIndex?

This identifies which host IP interface a row in sysIpConfigHostInterfaceTable describes: ethernet, slip, or nxt1. Admins use it to see whether a given IP address/subnet configuration applies to the Ethernet management port, a SLIP serial link, or the NxT1 (inverse-muxed T1) interface.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.135.22.1.3.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LX-10-MIB::sysIpConfigHostInterfaceIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.135.22.1.3.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LX-10-MIB::sysIpConfigHostInterfaceIndex.1
