configHdlcMode

Module: LX-10-MIB

OID (symbolic): LX-10-MIB::configHdlcMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.135.22.2.6.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Select the way in which HDLC port will be assigned. If mode is manual, the HDLC port is selectable by the NMS. If mode is auto, the 2 LX-10's in the 2 sides will match their HDLC ports automatically.

What is configHdlcMode?

This selects how the HDLC port is assigned between two linked LX-10 units: auto (the two units automatically match HDLC ports) or manual (an admin picks the port via the NMS). Admins choose manual when they need explicit control over which DS1 port carries the HDLC management channel.
