Module: LMS-TRAP-FORWARDING-MIB

OID (symbolic): LMS-TRAP-FORWARDING-MIB::eventFwdTableModificationStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.334.3.2.2.1

What is eventFwdTableModificationStatus?

This reports what level of access managers currently have to the lmsEventFwdTable, one of unknown, no-access, read-only, read-modify, or read-create. An admin checks this before attempting to modify trap-forwarding destinations, since it tells them whether they can merely view forwarding entries, change existing values, or also add/delete rows, subject to underlying SNMP security settings. For example, if this object returns read-only(3), an admin's SNMP manager would be able to view configured trap-forwarding destinations but not add a new destination or change the community string on an existing one.
