Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The lldpXdot1dcbxConfigETSConfigurationTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined ETS Configuration TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission-capable port.

The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is lldpXdot1dcbxConfigETSConfigurationTxEnable?

This read-write flag controls whether the local system transmits the DCBX ETS (Enhanced Transmission Selection) Configuration TLV on a given port. Admins deploying Data Center Bridging enable it so the port advertises its bandwidth-sharing configuration across traffic classes to the connected switch or NIC, letting both ends negotiate matching ETS settings automatically. It defaults to false and is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization.
