lldpXdot1dcbxConfigApplicationPriorityTxEnable
Module: LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB
OID (symbolic): LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpXdot1dcbxConfigApplicationPriorityTxEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.5.1.1.4.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The lldpXdot1dcbxConfigApplicationPriorityTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined Application Priority TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission-capable port.
The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.
What is lldpXdot1dcbxConfigApplicationPriorityTxEnable?
This read-write flag controls whether the Application Priority TLV, which maps applications or protocols to a specific 802.1p priority, is transmitted on a given port. Admins enable it so a connected device (like an FCoE-capable NIC) automatically learns which priority to tag its traffic with instead of requiring manual QoS configuration on both ends. It defaults to false and is restored from non-volatile storage after a reboot.
