lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable

Module: LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB

OID (symbolic): LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.3.1.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined Congestion Notification TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission-capable port.

The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable?

This read-write flag controls whether the local system transmits the IEEE 802.1 Congestion Notification TLV on a given LLDP-capable port. Admins in data-center-bridging environments enable it so downstream devices can be informed the port participates in congestion notification (QCN), aiding automatic discovery of congestion-aware network segments. It defaults to false and, like other Config*TxEnable flags in this MIB, is restored from non-volatile storage after a reboot.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.3.1.1.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.3.1.1.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.3.1.1.1.1.1.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lldpXdot1CnConfigCnTxEnable.1
