Description: The boolean value that indicates whether the corresponding Local System Port and Protocol VLAN instance is transmitted on the port defined by the given lldpV2Xdot1LocProtoVlanEntry.

The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.

What is lldpV2Xdot1ConfigProtoVlanTxEnable?

This boolean, per-port setting decides whether the Port and Protocol VLAN TLV for a given local protocol-VLAN instance gets advertised over LLDP. Admins enable it on trunk or access ports running protocol-based VLANs so the neighboring device can see which protocols are mapped to which VLAN without manual documentation. The setting defaults to false and persists across a device reboot.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.1.1.3.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpV2Xdot1ConfigProtoVlanTxEnable

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.1.1.3.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> LLDP-EXT-DOT1-V2-MIB::lldpV2Xdot1ConfigProtoVlanTxEnable.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.1.1.3.1.1.1 s <value>
