lldpXdot1EvbConfigCdcpTxEnable
Module: LLDP-EXT-DOT1-EVB-EXTENSIONS-MIB
OID (symbolic): LLDP-EXT-DOT1-EVB-EXTENSIONS-MIB::lldpXdot1EvbConfigCdcpTxEnable
OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.1.1.13.1.5.32962.7.1.1.1.1.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: The lldpXdot1EvbConfigCdcpTxEnable, which is defined as a truth value and configured by the network management, determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined CDCP TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission-capable port.
The value of this object is restored from non-volatile storage after a re-initialization of the management system.
What is lldpXdot1EvbConfigCdcpTxEnable?
This read-write TruthValue, defaulting to false, determines whether transmission of the IEEE 802.1 CDCP (Complex Device Component Protocol) TLV is allowed on a given LLDP-capable port, and it augments the standard lldpV2PortConfigEntry so it exists only alongside that port's LLDP configuration. An admin sets this to true on ports that need to negotiate S-channel assignments with an attached CDCP-capable device, with the setting persisting across a management-system reinitialization. For example, an admin enables this on a port connecting to a multichannel adapter so the switch can advertise and negotiate S-channels via the CDCP TLV.
