What is juniPppoeProfileMaxNumSessions?

This value sets the maximum number of PPPoE sessions (subinterfaces) that can be created on the main PPPoE interface using this profile, with 0, the default, meaning no limit is enforced. An admin sets this to cap how many subscriber sessions a given PPPoE-terminating interface can support, useful for capacity planning or preventing one interface from being overwhelmed. For example, setting juniPppoeProfileMaxNumSessions to 500 caps that interface at 500 concurrent PPPoE subscriber sessions.
