Description: The total number of PPP OSI NCPs in the system with an operational state of closed.
What is juniPppSummaryPppNetworkOsiNcpClosed?
This gauge reports the total number of PPP OSI NCPs in the system with an operational state of closed. It counts protocol sessions that exist but are not currently negotiated open, which can indicate the service was intentionally not started or failed to negotiate. For example, a rising juniPppSummaryPppNetworkOsiNcpClosed alongside stable PPP link counts suggests a protocol-negotiation problem (such as a misconfigured NCP option) rather than a physical outage.
