Description: The total number of PPP Link interfaces in the system with an operational state of dormant(5).
What is juniPppSummaryPppLinkIfOperDormant?
This gauge reports the total number of PPP Link interfaces in the system with an operational state of dormant(5). Dormant here means the interface is administratively enabled but waiting on some external event (such as the peer or lower layer) before it can pass traffic, so this count highlights interfaces stuck mid-negotiation. For example, a persistently nonzero juniPppSummaryPppLinkIfOperDormant suggests PPP links that never complete LCP/NCP negotiation with their peer.
