Description: The total number of PPP IPv6 NCPs in the system with an operational state of opened(1).
What is juniPppSummaryPppIpv6NcpOpened?
This gauge reports the total number of PPP IPv6 NCPs in the system with an operational state of opened(1). NCPs (network control protocols) negotiate per network-layer service such as IP or OSI on top of PPP, so this count shows how many of those protocol sessions are actually up and passing traffic, separate from the underlying PPP link state. For example, juniPppSummaryPppIpv6NcpOpened being lower than the PPP interface up-count would show some links are up at the PPP layer but have not yet finished negotiating this protocol.
