juniPolicyOperStatus

Module: Juniper-POLICY-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-POLICY-MIB::juniPolicyOperStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.27.1.3.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This obsolete object was used to retrieve the operational state of a policy.

If a policy is disabled, it is not applied to any interfaces within the system.

If a policy is invalid, there is a problem with the policy preventing it from being applied to an interface. An error code providing diagnostic information about the problem is found in juniPolicyErrorValue.

If a policy is enabled, it has been applied to one or more interfaces within the system.

This object was made obsolete due to some changes in E-Series which eliminated the possibility of a policy being operationaly disabled.

What is juniPolicyOperStatus?

Obsolete read-only status showing whether a policy was disabled(0), invalid(1) due to a configuration problem (with detail in juniPolicyErrorValue), or enabled(2) and actively applied to at least one interface. It was made obsolete because later E-Series software removed the possibility of a policy being operationally disabled independent of its admin state.
