juniMplsGroupMplsEnable

Module: Juniper-MPLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): Juniper-MPLS-MIB::juniMplsGroupMplsEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4874.2.2.54.1.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Enables or disables MPLS on the virtual router. When MPLS is created on the virtual router (VR), it remains adminstratively disabled untill it is enabled explicitly. Without administratively enabling the MPLS on VR, it won't function as an LSR even though it holds the MPLS configurations until the MPLS context is destroyed for the VR.

What is juniMplsGroupMplsEnable?

A read-write switch that administratively enables or disables MPLS on this virtual router; even after MPLS is configured on the VR, it stays disabled until this object is explicitly set to enable(1). An admin sets this to bring up label switching on a router that already has MPLS configuration in place but hasn't been turned on yet.
