Description: Determines whether a DIS message is send upon boot-up. Changes to this value may not persist across restarts.
What is rplDefaultDISMode?
Sets whether this RPL node sends DODAG Information Solicitation (DIS) messages on boot-up (send) or stays silent (silent), though the change may not survive a restart. An admin sets this to send on a node that needs to actively probe for nearby DODAGs at startup rather than waiting passively for DIO advertisements.
