Description: This variable is used to control the insertion of trunk ports. When set to 'execute' the trunk port will be inserted into the ring immediately and not wait for the trunk timer to expire. The agent always returns 'ready' for this value. Setting the value to 'ready' has no effect.
What is concentratorPortAdminTrunkInsert?
Writing execute(2) to this object forces an immediate insertion of a trunk port into the ring instead of waiting for the trunk timer to expire; it normally reads back ready(1). Admins use this to speed up bringing a trunk link online right after cabling it, rather than waiting out the timer.
